End-Of-Life Care

Often, end-of-life care can seem overwhelming because there are many options depending on the person’s needs. However, Dr. Diana Coseglia-Danna is here to help you and your loved ones create a care plan. She is passionate about providing you with the proper medical care and support. Additionally, she will help navigate palliative and hospice care, including in-home care or nursing home care.

Palliative care is medical care for one living with a long-term illness, such as cancer, dementia, or heart failure. This specialized care is beneficial to provide patients with treatment options. Further, there are inpatient and outpatient programs depending on your needs and preferences. And, you may be able to receive financial help through Medicaid, Medicare, specific health insurance, and Veteran benefits.

Hospice Care is similar to palliative care as it provides comfort while living with an illness. However, hospice care focuses on providing comfort and improving the quality of life over the treatment of illness. Similarly, there are inpatient and outpatient options. And Medicaid, Medicare, specific health insurance, and Veteran benefits may help cover services.
